Blótshelg: Ale and Tales
The village was alive with the jubilant sounds of laughter and music as the Norse festivities of Blótshelg reached their peak.

By the Fence
Every morning I ran to the old farm fence. My legs on fire, my heart pounding. I'd always hope to find her waiting on the other side. So quiet, quirky, and that funky smell of hers.
Each step felt like forever. I'd search and search through the rustling leaves. Always to return to that same spot. Would she be there today?
From between the bushes, something jumped. A wave of relief and joy washed over me. I couldn't let her know, but my emotions would always betray me, surging and wagging whenever she appeared.
We'd share our moment by the fence. And tomorrow, when I return, I know she'll be there too.

Valkyrie's Stand
As the first light of dawn pierced through the mist, we stood firm, our shields raised high against the onslaught.
We fought with a fierce determination, a sisterhood bonded by the binding promise to protect our home.
That was the first wave, and no putrid smelling orc came into the village.
But the following waves charged way too ferociously and much too swiftly.

Winter Guardian
Emerging from the swirling haze was a creature like no other, eyes blazing red with a malevolent fire. Its massive wings unfurled, sending shivers down my spine as the very air seemed to freeze.

Wrath of the Sea
The sea roared, and the wind howled, carrying the scent of impending doom.
Our ships, tiny and fragile against the wrath of nature, braced for the onslaught.
Every creak of the timbers a desperate plea for survival as the shadow of the wave loomed ever closer.
Towering like an unrelenting titan it grew, swallowing the sea, the sky, the world.
The horizon darkened.
Just as well as our destination.
