Lego parts list...complete?

I have a question for you guys: When I use LDraw, how come every time I open a file, there are a pile of files that just aren't found. I get small pop up message errores saying: 'file s\6582b .dat not found! Continue loading?" I get somewhere between 5 and 25 of these messages all in a row when...

Ldraw update of parts....where are they going??!

I'm sure most of you use MLCad, I have to agree it is a useful tool. Or at least it was a useful tool until I booted my computer and re-installed it. Now, it seem that whenever I download a model-whichever it is, is full of holes because my library of parts is not compete. So I go the the LDraw site...

This appears to be one of the traditional April Fools jokes we see on Lugnet every year. Don't believe everything you see especially on April 01. Of course I was born cynical. :D I'd like it to be real and I saw it posted on Lugnet last night, but it could very well have been April 01 in the poster...

I know exactly what you mean. Between my tubs of lego, my mom's Persian cat batting my bushels around, and the cats have a *fight* right in my town-it seems its the best playground!

My cat isn't necessarily dangerous to the LEGO, but he does get in the way of building. As long as they don't use more giant pieces to replace many smaller ones to speed up set development time, I'm happy... So is that why they were doing that. I was under the impresson it was just so that the legoes would be more compatible with younger children and easier to build. ...But Bionicle, ...

For me the question would almost have to be asked as how much time I spend on my weeks off, and how I much I spend when I'm not off. Last week I just had my March break, so I was able to spend 2-3 hours a day. Now that school is back on til June, I doubt that I'll be able to get more than 1hr a day....

Nice rendition of the head. that band when printed in the right shade of yellow should definately add some structure to a minifig head.!!

Very impressive! Is there a particular way to print them so they're the correct size for a minifig? Also, is that a ship behind the hand of Sauroman on the flag? I'm not a fan of LoTR myself, but these could definately add some beauty to my town anyway-who ever said that JRR Tolkein came up with orc...

And whenever I see it I sure am going to say I wish I had more room to play with

Just curious LF, how old did you say you were? If you're under 20, with all that room and lego-I'd be dammed! Thats just awesome!

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but if you're looking to situate your creation on a hill, may I suggest what I did for Halcyon Castle? It's not the greatest of techniques, as building a hill purely out of bricks would be the most realistic. However, I build my castle on baseplates, and those b...

Sounds like a great idea to me! I always liked this faction but I do have a few questions about it that maybe someone else has ideas on. First off, what have axes (on torsos) to do with crusaders? Is there some sort of historical background that I don't quite understand? I find it kind of strange th...

I don't really understand how you guys can stand storing your lego in baggies. I find it very nuisome having to use both hands to access my lego parts while building an MOC.
