That was featured on the Gizmodo blog, and within a few hours the price of Zamor Spheres on Bricklink went up hehehe.

It really was an inspiring video clip, I had the exact same thought as some others about chasing down the family cat whom likes to flop in the middle of the legos.

Well bollocks I got my time conversion wrong I thought it was 5 hours after EST not before, so I missed the deadline as well. Anyway, since I went to the trouble of staying up late to complete, I may as well post it: Ye Old Basket Cleaner - It has become necessary for the kingdom to employ a full ti...

I swung by one of my Wallmart stores Today and found the exact same prices and almost the same inventory of clearanced sets. They had the Dwarf's mine for $45, and the big Indiana Jones set for $64. Some bionicle sets too. Zero castle sets in the store. They have moved the stuff around several times...

Toys R Us has it for $89.99 which in my opinion is too much, but i have a very limited budget.

I really like the idea. The cows look particularly nice to me

@Peppermint

That is one thorough response. I really appreciate reading what people are buying sets for. Thanks for posting that insight.

Seriously? did that particular store have any on the shelves for $30? I was considering doing this with my one set, but had no idea if they had the $30 price in their system[/quote]

I am in a similar situation, didn't pick back up until I had a son old enough to play legos, now I've been dumping all the spare money into sets and trying to clean and sort my 80's collection as well. I initially started with those ziplock storage boxes, mostly because I had some on hand, and I tho...

After reading this post I stopped by my local walmarts and neither had the KCS but collectively they did have about 14 of the very big Indy kits marked down to $64 from $84. One if them had a Skeleton tower for $48 still, anyone hear if that one is marked down? This wallmart does not have the pice s...

I've only been watching craigslist for lego for roughly a year and there really is no rhyme or reason to it in my area. The only trend i noticed were lots of Kings Castle Sieges popping up shortly after the Walmart sale. Most annoying thing about craiglist is by the time i contact them, they are usu...

I am hoping after the holidays there will be excess calendars that will end up more reasonably priced on ebay and or bricklink. You could probably buy one for $50+ right now if you want one bad enough

So, Wal-Mart isn't waiting for Black Friday? Apparently not. However there is no indication that they are on sale other than the tiny price tag that is not even on the front of the box-at least at the two Michigan Walmarts I visited. This did of course make me wonder how many other Black Friday dea...

Do appreciate the heads up. I am in the Metro Detroit area. The Lego aisles at both my local Walmarts looked pretty sparse, the one in Ypsilanti still has one KCS left but the box is smashed a bit, it is $48.88 but theres no special sign or anything, just a simple price tag. The Belleville Wallmart ...
