When Meyheim was first built, it was a wooden castle on top of a stone base, but after the wooden part burned down, the castle was rebuilt with clay fired bricks.
This MOC shows the theft of the statue of the holy mother Mary in Scherpenheuvel, Belgium, just south of where I live.
I am aware of the historical inconsistency: the church was built there after the attempted theft of the statue, because according to local legend the statue of Mary froze the thief in stone, thus foiling the theft. It was because of this that the site was declared holy and the church was built there.
I just think it's an awesome church and wanted to build it out of LEGO.
